Great post. It always irked me that the blog was coveted by the technical elite. There are lots of people capable of providing great content that don’t know the difference between html and a ham sandwich.

I don’t think blogging is dead, even with sites like Twitter. Perhaps Twitter even makes it more necessary to have a blog. After all, sometimes you have far more than 140-characters on your mind. If you’ve already built a following there, pointing them to your blog from time to time seems like a good idea.

That said, I’m a terrible blogger I’m trying to blog more often so hopefully I’ll get better at keeping my blog current.

Yeah, bloging is really looks like dead … only robo blogs are the real problem …

But yes, if you start with free blog service you can still paste some of your personal life to public.

But why – if personal domain looks more reliable. So I vot for running blog on your own domain. That could be the point in feauture.

Ha, what a funny guy he is. I don’t think newbies should start with blogging, I can see a lot of heart break, hours and hours of learning and if they are not smart they’ll lose money, unless they have a well thought out plan.

I think people who want to try blogging should start with free Blogger blogs, once they have that down, WP will be easier.

The blogs of certain companies will always be listed above yours. That is same case with websites. You just have to find your niche and work on site or blog and you will be fine.
