There are so many spam comments that doesn’t look like spammy. You have to be very careful on checking on spam comments and make sure you double checked on them.

An interesting take on dofollow (although I hate that term as it all links SHOULD be *follow in my opinion, but thats a different arguement for a different day!) but my main concern is the time it takes to consider each comment in full and decide if I should allow it or not.

My corporate blog gets 1000’s of comments each day, which I simply can’t review myself and don’t want to incure the staffing cost to have someone else do it.

Personally I think that the whole nofollow issue is wrong and should never have been introduced – I don’t think anyone should be changing how they work (site owners) to help Google. At the end of the day they are a major reason why link spam evolved, and they expect webmasters to change their practices to help them reduce it

I run in on one of my (no so impotant) project. There were no really big troubles with it.Target because a lot of their stuff is the same old junk Walmart has.
