Use Recaptcha, Akishmet or other plugins usualy it will catch spammers. But the worst is when someone (maybe bot) post comment with dozens of links inside it.

I think those comments are made by software not real people half the time. It is so simple to read a post and then talk about it i see no reason a person can not mention anything about it in thier comment.

We are the ones who added the dofollow link and this is a free link. How many people can pass up on something that is free? Not too many if we are being truly honest. But all I expect from my free gift is just some respect back from those who benefit from the gift.

I followed a backlink I have and it brought me to your post. Don’t know how I got the backlink.

Anyway I agree, In my opinion if someone is kind enough to operate a do follow blog than the peeps that comment should at least read the post and comment relevant and add some value. Otherwise were all just Chinese! Yes, Check out some of the Chinese blogs and forums. Some will have 10,000 comments with millions of anchored links! It is hilarious !!

I must say i too have seen most of the spammer too make comments saying this is nice blogs , thanks likewise.

Those are general things. Without coming to the blog even we can say like that.
