That way your posts and articles get equal and spread out exposure. However, when I tried to do just that when I launched my blog a few weeks ago I noticed that, after having commented on a few blogs, most didn't accept my comments anymore and filtered them as spam. I presume this is done by Akismet so I asked them to de-spam my links to specific pages. My frontpage still gets accepted for comments so it's kinda weird but also frustrating!
