Finding DoFollow Blogs With Google
Finding dofollow blogs is not always an easy task. There are a lot of do follow lists out there, mostly lists on blogs.
Most are great lists, but not every dofollow blog owner wants to be on those lists. They are afraid that being on those lists will bring out the comment spammers.
Since there are a lot of great dofollow blogs that are not on any lists, how do you find them?
Paul at SearchEnginePeople.com provides a Google search query to help you find dofollow blogs based on a keyword search.
Using Paul’s keyword search is great since it will help you find dofollow blogs for your niche. It’s always preferable to comment on blogs related to your website.
I’ve tried the search for several keywords and it works very well.
Use this Google query to find dofollow blogs for your niche, but remember to post good, relative comments.
Here are some common sense dofollow blog commenting tips that will help you get your comments approved.

Hi!
I know what you mean. This morning, I became so frustrated with the do follow lists I have, that I decided to create a site for do follow blogs.
Having to sort through blog titles to try to figure out what niche they’re in was time consuming. I decided to create a site where bloggers can add their do follow blogs in the appropriate category.
No guessing involved!
I’m open to suggestions. I just threw this together this morning. That’s how frustrated I was!!!!
Easiest way to find keyword luv blogs is simply go to yahoo and search ‘keyword luv’ ‘powered by wordpress’ .. etc and then you have plenty to work with.
I can see why people fear putting their blogs on such lists for fear that they will get comment spam. I welcome comments to all my blogs and I let a captcha catch all the bots and I manually approve what does make it through.
I was using dofollo.com but I will try this one.
By the way, did you know you can install an addon for Firefox that will show you if a blog is a nofollow or dofollow?
It is not 100% precise since there are some plugins (like the one I am using) that takes off the nofollow tag only after 3 comments from the same user, so it would appear that the blog is a nofollow.
Anyway the plugin is called Search Status.
I have been using software to find dofollow blogs lately and have built a list of 516 dofollow blogs. It’s not totally clean but it’s close. I also have an OPML file available.
It’s much better to use Yahoo for this kind of thing, as it doesn’t limit your queries like Google does.
So, who to find do follow blog using google? I don’t find it here
Thanks for the insight on how to find dofollow sites. Cheers, DC
G-Lock Blog Finder is another program worth checking. You can use it to find dofollow blogs by niche/keyword.
i used G-lock blog finder as well. Going to dofollow.

Great tips! Thanks so much! I’ve got my blog dofollowed, but I still don’t get many comments
Hey, I wrote my own blog/comments section on my web site and I didn’t eben know about the rudeness that is nofollow.
The article has a great insight. I greatly enjoyed looking through the topic and found it very informative one for people like me.
I Would like to know more on these topics.
It is a terrific eye-opener.
I just downloaded your PDF file and will also check out the post from your friend. Thank you for the nice information. I am still learning to find these dofollow blogs and welcome any snippet of information.
I use to use lists, like Court’s d-list until i found FBF, which does a great job of finding dofllow blogs.
I still like doing searches by hand though, because I find stuff the fbf never pick up.
Nice tips. I do use dofollow on my blog. I’m premoderating messages befor post them on the blog - so it’s no problems whith a spam.
Wow this is great, another alternative how to find Dofollow blogs using Google queries,
thanks for the post and the links..
This is a big help!
Best Regards,
Craig.
thanks for the link. gonna learn and apply it!
Thanks for the great dofollow tips. I’ll be sure to follow… your post made my life a little bit easier. ^_^
Many, many thanks!
The simply way is go to google and search keyword “dofollow list” or similar
Firefox has a great add on that will tell you if blogs are no follow or do follow. I believe do follow gives incentive for readers to post relevant conversation on blogs.
Hello there, I agree with the thing that is not all that easy finding real do follow blogs, I always try to search blogs related to my websites but most of the times this kind of blogs don’t seem to be do follow, so I have to search any type of blog and definitely that is not an easy task.
Thanks for your dofollow tips, I’ll be sure to use them and currently I use the G-Lock Blog Finder also, a very helpful tool:)
Thanks for this tip for finding dofollow blogs. I was having real problems finding them before I found this blog.
I really liked the link you provided to the comment tips. I understand that it must be very frustrating for the dofollow blog owners with all spam.
Anyway, even if I do enjoy the link juice that does not mean that my comments have to be worthless. I always tries to contribute, in that way it’s a win-win situation for both me and the blog owner.
The search query is more useful than the regular search made by Google. Definitely the best way to find DoFollow blogs. Great link though.
It is also a good thing for the dofollow blog owners to show up at those places. Evewn if there are many spammers it will also connect you with some readers.
Isn’t there a way to find dofollows with a simple google query?
Google has browser specialized in the search of dofollow blogs but if you visit them some of them already got back to nofollow, so is not that accurate.
Its not easy to find follow blogs. Some search query hints and the rest is try and look.
Thank you for the heads up. I will try to use and try this search query. Keep up the good work.
Thanks for the lesson this so nice
Nice tip, I tried out pauls search. Got me some great results. thanks
Thanks for the info. I hope more people start to realize the benefits of having a do follow site.
I’m going to try Paul’s search out, seems as though every search box I use that says it will find them doesn’t work. I let you if I had any success…
Going to try these queries out, looks like they could work. It’s getting harder and harder finding good blogs to comment on and get a little pr juice. I love blogging and reading articles, just wish google didn’t come up with the no follow strategy.
I welcome all comments to my blog. The more the merrier. We have alot to learn from each other so why not share!!!!!!!
What to say more than just thanks for the list!
Mike–thanks for the advice and different links. I’ll check them out.
i am also confusing the dofollow or nofollow.
but i was read some abt dofollow is better to the site for increase backlink to the site.
I find that some blogs say they are dofollow but after some time they turn it off and it becomes nofollow. Pretty confusing, I’d say. Anyway, thanks for this. I find it helpful.
Great list & ideas…I will implement them now in my link building campaigns…
Thanks..
Do follow blogs is good if you want to grow your community or “socialize” and have conversation with your visitors.
Problem is as stated in this article its hard to find blogs with dofollow as spammers keep flooding with like “viagra” or something. Good thing is Akismet to somehow filter the comments and mark it for deletion if the comments are spam.
I think that commenting on do-follow blogs only could be a mistake. We all know that Google is no fool and if they see that there are 100 do-follow blog links pointing to your site and 0 no-follow blog links, they’ll know that this is not natural and you will get punished.
I think increase traffic, you actually make sense, but it’s quite easy then to look natural for Google eyes, as simple as this is very easy to post comments anyway. The risk is when you exclusively post comments on dofollow blog.
yes that is something i accept and appreciate cool clean and informative with good suggestion
Is there anyway, to find Edu blogs or forums with dofollow with a simple google query?
As hard as I might, I still do not fully understand Do Follow. However, I’ve been using Keyword Luv and have been loving the fact that it significantly increases the traffic to my blogs.
@mike
hi there, yes there is a google way to find edu blogs, but my question is why are you looking for edu blogs? to boost pr? Nowadays, edu blogs are flooded with spam and I’m pretty sure once you find one your comments will be moderated worse deleted by the admin.
@ chloe: That is a good suggestion. Still, sorting between do-follow and no-follow sites can be a daunting task. Having a list or a quick method can save alot of time and effort having to research what’s what yourself.
I wonder if the difference between do follow and no follow is really that powerful…
Thanks for the list…great resource & search string for finding blogs…
hey thnx, but can u plz help me i cannot find the list….
the information provide by you is very useful for me.thanks for sharing and hope you will share again.
Hello, thanks for this great article! You really help me with it. Now I`ll search great blogs .
I got here with “google query dofollow” from google.
Awesome info. Thanks !
