I think nofollow links still useful for startups, because without links at all you can wait for visitors a lots of weeks.

The easiest way is to combat comment spam is to just manually approve everything. It only takes a few minutes of your time once or twice a week and allows anyone wanting to make a positive contribution to your blog to not be penalized by no follow links.

Hey is there any minor benefit of no follow back links? Because I read an article where the person stated that no follow back links are not completely useless but they are not as valuable as do follow. Too bad I forgot where I read this article.

I can see why people fear putting their blogs on such lists for fear that they will get comment spam. I welcome comments to all my blogs and I let a captcha catch all the bots and I manually approve what does make it through.

I really dont know how the hell one can find real do follow blog list? i mean what is the query you have to put on search engine like google to come up with results of only do follow blogs or websites?

I reoved the dofollow, or rather put the nofollow back in. I was penalised by google and i couldn’t figure out why. This was the only thing that i could control so I changed it, got back my PR. I don’t know if it was the cause or just a coincidence. but i am hesitiant to put the dofolow back in.

I have numerous blogs live on the internet and I use keywordluv as I think it is a great idea to reward people for commenting on your site, it also encourages people to leave a comment as it is well worth it for them. I would not have had a keywordluv blog without the CAPTCHA feature otherwise you get hit with so much spam, I think the CAPTCHA is superb and I would suggest anyone with a blog has it too.
