You discussed about bad commenting and you let more of them to post over here. this is problem of all blog owners create a blog and not keep it un noticed. this became a major help to spammers.

Its great to get do follow links but Google is smart enough to know whether we are over optimizing the site. Its better to get links from follow, no follow, anchored texts, brand name…. every link matters what Google loves is diverse links.

I think many blogs are debating this. On the one hand you get many more visitors and discussion on your site with do follow but you also get an increased amount of spamming as well.

I like to spread my link in different blogs but before doing this i read all the post and most of the comment then I comment on the post. In this way I participate in post as well I get a back link.

I also agree that people should not give links without discussing on the topic or without giving any valuable suggestion. They must participate or discuss on the topic. Giving fake comments just to stay in the comments for link is not fare. I must say that blog owners must delete those comments.

You’re right, always I was thinking that it is not fair that people take advantage of the dofollow blogs, because anyone enter in the blogs and puts some stupid thing and then he win a backlink.

We need always to publish something of value as you say, because is not fair that some people come to our blogs and say things like “thanks, good post” and as a writer we need that the people says something with value, that make some question or at least that the message have life.

Great blog post on the CommentLuv plug-in and how it can be abused. Link building is definitely a huge part of building up your blog online, and I’m personally of the opinion that Google tends to show a little bit more favor to blogs that have comments and conversations going on. So I still do it.
