I have made another change to the Followlist.com DoFollow Blog Directory.
I will be sending Twitter Tweets of blogs in the directory that I have verified to be DoFollow.
This is good news for you if you are looking for DoFollow blogs to comment on.
Unfortunately, some blogs in the DoFollow list are actually nofollow blogs. In order to cleanup the directory and weed out dead blogs and nofollow blogs, I have asked users to report those blogs as they come across them.
In addition, I am randomly reviewing blogs in the directory a number of times a day. As I come across valid dofollow blogs, I will tweet you about them. If they are not dofollow, I will be suspending them.
So, when you follow my Twitter Tweets, you will know that blogs mentioned in those tweets have been verified as being dofollow.
If you have a blog in the DoFollow Blog Directory that has been verified to be a dofollow blog, I will be tweeting your blog.
Initially, I thought about tweeting new blogs as they were submitted to the Followlist.com dofollow blog list, but that would not have been fair to those who have been a member of the list for some time.
So, I will be randomly choosing blogs throughout the day that are dofollow and are family appropriate. All dofollow blogs will be tweeted about once, until all are done, and then I will start the process again.
So, follow me at http://twitter.com/dofollowblogs and keep a look out for your blog.
By the way, if you discover that your blog is no longer in the directory, it is probably because it was tagged as a nofollow blog. The database still contains your blog information, and your blog can be added back into the dofollow list if you make your blog dofollow. Just contact me at my Helpdesk and let me know your blog is now dofollow and provide me with your blog link. If I verify that your blog is dofollow, I will add it back into the directory.

Wow, this is very nice of you to take your time and do. Yours is the only list I’ve been using, and I report like crazy (don’t know if you can see who reports what, but trust me, I report!), and hopefully it will just continue to grow and get bigger. I’ve found about 10 good blogs that I’m a part of now thanks to your list. Thanks!

Hey!
Thanks a lot for trying your best to keep the website up to date! If I find any website that have changed to nofollow on the list, I will surely report them for you to try and keep the list a bit more tidier!
Thanks
Great! Timely updates from your tweets will be very useful since I’m always on the lookout for do follow blogs. Will definitely stay tuned on your tweets and hoping you will not get tired doing it.
I want to make a do follow blog but dont know where to start anybody help me please..?
Really its a great idea you have given. Do follow is the another way to increase our page ranking in search engine.
I think that several of the people who say they are do follow are actually trying to fool you.
For example, on the list is a lawyer, clearly trying to drum up business by advertising very negative services, and not even HAVING a comment section on his blog. It’s not even a blog. Just an ad for drunk driving representation.
I don’t blame you at all for this. Lawyers are desperate for business these days.
We graduate tens of thousands of them every year, and only the smallest percentage can make a living. Paralegals are taking over the business that they used to be able to charge $100 per hour for, and with the overcrowding, they are on the lookout for any occasion to create a controversy that they can remedy for a price.
What a business….
Great service. Fully appreciate the list, as collecting backlinks is definitely one of the most difficult aspects of SEO and staying online. It’s hard to find people willing to share their lists to help others, and I tip my hat to you for it.
I recently came across your blog and have been reading along. I thought I would leave my first comment. I don’t know what to say except that I have enjoyed reading. Nice blog. I will keep visiting this blog very often.
Thanks for the info adnd thanks for taking the time to do this. I will be a follower on twitter.
That will really be great, i usually report if i come across blogs with nofollow attribute on the directory. But the new dimension you took is great, will be follow you now…
This is a great resource and if every one contributes could be a great movement, thanks for the directory
Wow, exactly what I have been searching for and you came up on the first page of google so you must be doing something right!!
Wow so helpful of you to send the tweets. This will help everyone out there who are facing difficulty in getting the dofollow links.
Yeah I’ve found that many dofollow are now nofollow.
This is cool what you are doing. Do follow seems to be have become a dirty word in some circles. I have added my blog to your list and following you on twitter. Well done.
@ Sean
You are saying “as collecting backlinks is definitely one of the most difficult aspects of SEO and staying online”. Collecting low quality links is doesn’t matter. Collecting good quality back links is definitely very challenging one. Now a days most peoples generating scrappy links for SEO purpose with out having knowledge, According to me in SEO field Quality is more important than Quantity.

My goodness what else do I need from the followlist.com, if you send that to my tweet it will be much like sending a cupcake to my door. Thanks for sharing and offering such a great service.
Now this list is really what I was looking for thanks for sharing a new list each week, I really like the way you share blogs with us, you are really doing a great job.
Mike, I appreciate the format of the tweets in that you mention the category which saves some time for some folks. I don’t think I’d be posting something on a wedding ring website as one example (Feb 1 tweet).

This way the first tweet they will see from you will send them to your blog … I have put together a French DoFollow blog search engine with quite a few. …. If an administrator feels that your blog comment is a spammy one they just..Any ways thanks for the lists…
Many blogs may be DoFollow, but the owners lost interest in their blogs and do not approve comments anymore. This is what you also need to look out for. Are the comments appearing there, recent and not?

I’ve been one of your users but why is that sometimes I see nofollow blogs in the list? Is this something unavoidable?
Cool stuff. But I think that Google will have to redefine it’s policy of inbound links, cos now it’s all about dofollow links.
Very nice facility to great traffic. I am at the point where I rarely leave a comment while you surf the blogs unless KeywordLuv available. Thank you
