Still, you need to have Akismet or something similar enabled. Just because the comments are no-follow doesn't mean that you are not going to get automated bots spamming your site. I have toyed with the notion of turning the links into do-follow, but I am going to be careful. While I do want the comments, I don't want to be overwhelmed with spam.
