This Site Uses KeywordLuv
What? You might think that is a strange title - this site uses keywordluv.
KeywordLuv is a Wordpress plugin, that I think is a must for do-follow blogs, and I use it on all of my dofollow blogs.
Those who post valid comments on do-follow blogs know that it’s important to use the right keyword link text on their comments.
For example, when I post comments on other do-follow blogs and point them to my Do-Follow Blog Directory, I don’t use the actual link in the comments name field - http://followlist.com .

Instead I want to use something like:
Notice I use the Name “Mike Do-Follow Directory”. Ideally I would like to use just “Do-Follow Directory”, but some blog owners don’t like you to use just your keywords. If you use your name and then your keywords blog owners will be more forgiving.
Since most who comment on do-follow blogs don’t know this, there is a way you can help them use the correct Name - KeywordLuv.
I use KeywordLuv on all of my do-follow blogs because it encourages comments since they do get to use their keyword in the link, and I like the way it looks.
The KeywordLuv syntax is “YourName@YourKeywords” like below.

That’s why this site uses keywordluv, it’s perfect for Do-Follow Blogs!
The KeywordLuv plugin also automatically sets your blog comments to be Do-Follow. However, it doesn’t seem to work for setting do-follow on my blog, so I use the DoFollow Plugin.

This plugin rocks! I love be able to use both my name as well as some keywords. Much Luv for Keyword Luv!
Well this seems to be a great idea and one that should hopefully take off quite well. I did try to install it on my blog but I had problems with it.
lol it took me forever to find the real comments box -_-
Yeah I agree that this is really a beutiful solution for both blog owners and commentators as I, too do not like to reply to comments where I have to say “Hi home insurance” to adress the commentor …
I have added keywordluv to one of my blogs, and have found my comments have gone up 300%. Fantastic. Although you really do need to check on the links that people leave, to make sure your not linking to bad sites. Worth it I think and a great addition to the do-follow blogging movement.
Great plugin here! Now hopefully we can see less wierd names since keywords can be used instead of being inserted as “names”. So you won’t have to reply like “Dear Best Travel Advice, …” =D
Although I have not yet gotten the KeywordLuv plugin to work, my blog at Karlonia.com is DoFollow for comments.
I just discovered the KeywordLuv plugin (great idea!) yesterday, but sadly my theme seems to be incompatible. This probably doesn’t matter much, however; people seem to be doing a good enough job of putting their keywords in the name field anyway
Yes, it is a great plugin, I also use it on my blog.
Also: congrats Mike, You have the nr1 spot on google for the keyword “this site uses keywordluv”. I just found you in this way.
Olivier
Thanks for pointing out the #1 spot, Oliver.
It’s not by accident, but I didn’t realize I had that spot.
Not the best keyword to have the #1 spot for, but I’ll take it. I’ll also be sharing how a WP plugin helped me to get that #1 spot.
Mike
I agree Keyword Luv is amazing for both sides. Commenters get a nice back link with their keywords while the blog owner gets more relevant comments.
I am going to be implementing this on one of my blogs to test it out and see if it can help increase interaction. Thanks.

So now that you have created this post do you find most people searching for the phrase “This site uses KeywordLuv” are winding up on this page or your other posts where you mention the phrase and why you added the article? Or to your front page?
Is a pretty good feature for blogs. I think is a win-win for bloggers and commenters. Thanks for enabling it.
This is nice but really needs to be moderated wisely to prevent spammers from taking advantage of it.
Hey! Nice one. I have just installed it on my blog and about to blog about it to get more people commenting
Thanks a lot!
I have facing trouble posting with keywords on many blogs. Hope it will work and acceptable to do-follow blog owners. Thanks for the tip.
Interesting!
KeywordLuv helps you reward your commentators by separating their name from their keywords in the link to their site. This gives them improved anchor text, which can help their site rank higher in the search engine results.
You can now leave a comment with your name as well as a keyword of your choice here and get a PR5 link back to your site! How cool is that? People pay big bucks for that and all you have to do is comment here.
Just a heads up that JS SEO Busby comment is being spammed all over Keywordluv blogs like mine…I have seen it in 6 different blogs already.
I have just added KeywordLuv plugin to my blog, I love this plugin!
This plug seems great! I’m glad I read about this. I will definitely install this on my blog as well. Thanks for the post!
Great to read about KeywordLuv plugin. This is cool.
I totally agree with Busy:It’s such a brilliant idea and quiet useful but really needs to be moderated wisely to prevent spammers from taking advantage(abusing it) of it.
Great explanation on KWLuv.
I just spend 5 minutes on another blog trying to figure out how to do exactly what your screenshots showed here.
One stop shopping!
Really Great plugin. it’s fantastic. going to add this plugin to one of my blogs. Fantastic.
The plug in is brilliant, what a great way to reward readers and keep comments active.
What an amazing idea to reward your readers, something I can use too on my blogs
wow, people always come up with a good idea and keywordluv is one of the greatest. It’s great to come up with a plugin that are rewarding to your readers. Thanks for implementing it on your blog Mike!
Useful post. And I really “luv” keywordluv :). And as I tried looking for other blogs, I could see the plugin has many other advantages. And if you use it strategically… it can be much more beneficial in multiple ways.
Thanks indeed for implementing it on your blog. It’s really awesome :).
What an amazing tool! I get to use my name and my keywords.
Mucho Luv for Keyword Luv Amigo!
Plus, It a win for me, I retired early to Mexico and checked out of the rat race forever.
Now I live in the world’s best weather (according to National Geographic) on Lake Chapala, Mexico.
Gracias for Keyword Luv,
Joel
Thanks for sharing - I have used it for a couple of my sites and found that lots of people comment on the blog, so I always have fresh content.
I installed the KeywordLuv plugin tonight and the documentation said I had to install a DoFollow plugin specifically. Maybe new information.
Hey Oldbuddy,
Yes you do need to install a DoFollow plugin.
The KeywordLuv plugin is irrelevant if you’re not a dofollow blog, since links with anchor text won’t be followed.
Hope that makes sense.

This is by far the best comment plugin for wordpress. Rewards your comments an will bring back users to your website.
i just installed keywordluv in several my blogs. great to encorage visitor to comment
I love this plugin - it makes comments look less spammy by allowing commenters to include their names alongside their keywords
I contribute to this real estate blog in San Diego and it really helps to have this plug-in. It definitely gets more people to participate in the blog. The only thing to watch out for is some spam but besides that it has been great and get more people to participate in the blog.
Just had this plug-in installed in my blog to increase readers. This is so great, both for the readers and blog writers. Way to go!
Askimet marked me as spam for using my Keywords normally on peoples comment areas. Hopefully, only using keywords on blogs that have this feature enabled will aid me in getting off the spam list.
This is possibly the single best plugin that wp has. It’s a win-win situation mainly because it gives the readers a great incentive to leave good comments and the blog receives more traffic and possible more ad revenue as well.
Thanks for using this plugin. I will be incorporating it into my new blog when I find enough time to launch it.
Thank for your tips in commenting other dofollow blogs, It’s very helpful.
the comment box is not working, heard this is a bug.
Keywordluv is a great tool to keep people from filling their post with spammy keywords.
Keyword luv is a great way to get more traffic and comments on a blog. Comment luv is another greta pluggin that lets people get a link to last post of thier blog.
I would say that is also a sign of respect to include your name, instead of just the nickname or even some just anonymous.
This plug-in increased the readers in my site - truly rocks! .. I still get spam messages/comments, but of course.. they don’t get posted. =)
This plug-in is great!
First, it encourages people to comment on your posts which search engine loves.
Second, people like me who leaves comments get some keyword love.
But does anybody here think that Google might track down blogs using KeywordLuv and somehow tag them to be gaming the system? Just a thought.
Keywordluv is great too to increase comments. It allows people to give anchor rich links without looking spammy.
i have been doing it wrong for 100+ coments thanks for the lesson
This is indeed a cool plugin , now you don’t have to leave comments with anchor texts as your name to get relevant back links
Keyword luv plug-in is perhaps one of the best that I have encountered. This takes away the impression of spamming despite the effort to post a relevant comment. Hopefully I would get to discover a lot other do follow blogs using this plug in.
The “samples” at the top really threw me off at first, lol! The “dofollow” movement is one of the best things to happen to blogs- it’s a great way to get people involved.
Nice plugin! I am now using DoFollow and Keyword Luv. DoFollow should be the default in Blogs as a lot bloggers don’t understand how to turn it on.
I started using the keywordluv plugin about a week ago on one of my blogs and it seems great. Then I tried to find other sites using it and noticed that most of them have nofollow tags on all of their outgoing links! But, what is the point in keywordluv if your going to use no follow rel tags?
Thanks for the explanation. I’m still a little fuzzy on why keywords are important in the comments, but me understanding it is of little importance. “Trust and obey”
man i been doing it wrong….. thanks for showing me the right way.
Keywordluv is a great tool to encourage discussion on your blog. The blogger is rewarded with relevant discussion while the the reader is rewarded with a valuable backlink to their site.
I was just made aware of the importance of link building and anchor text. Great page and thanks for the tutorial.
It’s a shame that more sites don’t try using this plugin!
Thanks for implementing this great plug-in on your site. It’s an excellent idea to reward contributors to your site with a backlink and avoids the feeling of being rude when entering a keyword in lieu of your name - it makes the comments part of an article look so much more professional. Lets hope use of KeywordLuv spreads.
I didn’t like to leave comments on other blogs back then but when this plugin went out. There was something that pushed me to comment. Now, I am commenting on a lot of blogs and I like it. Even without this plugin I leave comments. It’s really nice to see the reaction of people.
Thanks so much for implementing this plugin onto your blog!
I mean, you don’t have to do it, but it sure does bring a sense of community into the world of blogging even more, and helps everyone out!
Cheers again.
It is a great plug in! Dofollow, seo quake, google page rank, keywordluv are my four best friends
I’ve been pretty lazy when it comes to the whole SEO thing (I know, that’s probably the worst statement I could ever make!) but finding info on plugins like KeywordLuv has been a real life saver for some of my blogs :). Thanks.
The plug-in works awesome. It encourages an active forum interaction on one’s site. Spammers cannot be avoided - giving senseless comments, though they can be controlled. This is just great! =)
this plugin is awesome, i have used it and recommend it. definately a plus!
if you havent used this plug in you should.. works really good.
